actually yeah when your stats are maxed and your hp is easily 1.2k above your opponent. ie, you hit harder and don't get hurt nearly as much as your opponent. u dum?

your question would have been phrased better as "do buffs make you a better player?" that answer is no; your jousting however, will be substantially better when you're backstabbing non-duelist for 900 like gaping did to rag.

I landed more backstabs against gaping every fight
other player had buffs and got them pelled then plugged when he started losing
