Druid Firestrike vs Calefaction

~26p (iirc), 155 Mana for 302 Damage (1.95 Damage per Mana), 2.5 Recast Calefaction - http://wiki.project1999.com/Calefaction 82p from FV only, 250 Mana for 450 Damage (1.8 Damage per Mana), 45.0 Recast Trying to understand the point of Calefaction. It's less mana efficient, takes forever to recast and is super expensive. Generally speaking higher level spells become more efficient. Is there something with this spell that I am missing? Or was it just one of many silly things about classic EQ? | ||
