Back when this server started, it had something like 800 players. Every week after, it got lower and lower. The reason? The exp was so slow, it took days to level 4-5. Lots of people left after that.

Other factors included strict rules, favoritism etc but most of all, the players themselves. Happens every and any server.

Guards not assisting on faction, broken resists, high grief mode...there were tons of reasons people left fast and with a bad taste in their mouths.

And now that <Empire> has won Velious there's not much point, really.

This is why I hope they do a new server. Everyone has done such a great job of beta testing! It would be a shame not to use all they've learned to launch a new server with the finished, playable product.

The only way teams will be even half successful on a server that will almost certainly be low population is if there is a discord team that can attack anyone, including each other.
