New Rogue having itemization problems.
I'm having a really hard time finding a weapon on my lvl 10 rogue Tyronnis. I've got most of the rest of my gear through help from friends, but just the weapon is throwing me for a loop. One person suggested I get a Gloomwater Harpoon or a Jagged Chokidai Spine, and I've got about 75pp to spend, but I can't find a seller in EC.

Farm some HQ bear hides and get up to 300 plat or more then you are talking a few more good weapons. At 10 you finally have BS, take advantage of it. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] | ||

For 75p, you could also consider Serrated Bone Dirk. Save up closer to 400 and get Jade Chokidai Prod. Next step up from there is Crystalline Spear for a few hundred more. Options after that go up into the thousands (Trakasaur's Tooth, Serpent's Tooth, Rapier of Oriin, Sebilite Croaking Dirk). Then get your epic.
Velious will also bring out a lot of super cheap daggers, specifically look for the Crystalline Spider Fang to be extremely cheap, possibly cheaper than all of the options I mentioned before. Dragons in Velious will also drop *a lot* statsless, mostly useless piercing weapons that will sell for cheap similarly to the way Crystalline Spear or Bone Razor work now.

I also highly recommend picking up some Bone Armplates (+5str -4dex) that drop from Ogres in Western Karanas, you cannot kill them but you can try to purchase the Armplates.
(Recommended) Often times people will sell them for cheap in East Commons prices range from 20-40plat usually. (NOT Recommended) You can visit the Western Karanas and check the merchant houses for them (If you are not an evil race or hated by humans/barbarians). If they are on the merchant they cost around 5-10plat and sometimes someone's inventory becomes full while farming other items from the ogres allowing you to buy them off of a merchant. | ||
