Would be sort of dumb to remove them after 1 day, I don't think they were exceptionally rare in classic nor were they removed in the first day/week/month.

It was broken

Apparently they were just chain spawning in "known" locations

Easily a hundred picked up first day

I sincerely hope this is not the case. I mean why to punish the ones who haven't got a chance to pick the Seaworthy Planking up on the first day? Why to reward the ones who exploited the groundspawn and banked them on many toons for further MQ sales. Why to nerf a quest at it's easiest part? All those banked planks won't be used for a good while so why not just leave them in and end the task according to the classic timeline? There's not a single competent reason behind this move.

This would be one of the most unprofessional and ignorant move from the staff if they do this, specially without any announcement. Hundreds of players are still trying to find this spawn wasting hours of their time. Any DEV care to comment please?

I've been runnin around Iceclad all damn day and nothing so far.

Getting a BFG was probably one of my biggest goals on here, I seriously hope they didn't remove the planks already =/

I am still looking for a plank. Have eight or so hour spent looking since release still nothing.

Searched zone for 6-7 hours yesterday with a friend, no luck.

If the quest was nerfed there should have been a patchnote so I can quit wasting my time [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Though its possible that the nerf is only temporary until they find a fix for the issue Cucumbers mentioned.

Still, a headsup would be nice.

I was running along the coast between the Dragon Portal and the Bridge and saw a bag (loot) on the ground against the cliff wall. Picked it up and it was the planking. I have talked to several people who have been looking for it and cant find it. I also know of other people that have found it in different places. It was later learned that it is a complete random axis spawn. It could spawn on the bottom of the ocean someplace, or along the coast. From all the places Ive heard, its generally along the waters edge. Thats what makes the quest so difficult.
I just hope this can be tag teamed.....

Could we please get some communication from the staff?
Something in the line of "The planking is still available and we fixed the spawn to make it work as intended" would already go a long way.
