It will be worth whatever you put into it. If you can graduate with Honors, then rock it. At a recent department meeting we talked about how those who complete Honors have greater success with the Masters. Some faculties recommend this step for moving into the Masters program, and other more stringent ones even require it.

I personally find Masters useless unless you are moving on to PhD. Its unfortunate that after all that money and time, you dont even get to be called "Master."

Either way, good luck and stock up on the KD!

Don't go. College has been the worst 5.5 years of my life. Srsly.
I think this is more like a Masters/PhD type program or possibly just an upper level type of program (Much like the medical technology or nursing programs at universities)

Sooooo I think she's already been to college [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] That and the fact that she says her planning and efforts in college were not in vain. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I think it's moreso how whatever is being built will affect the surrounding area/environment and using those skills to plan the structure/park/etc to have less of an adverse affect. I know of one issue where paved roads that are too wide cause alot of problems with heavy rains... in the sewers and also above ground. It's like the wider the road, the more water that is being sent to the storm drains. That excess of water is essentially flooding the treatment plants when heavy rains occur. I know this is/was an issue in our area a handful of years ago.

I'm sure Tralina could tell you much better than I, though. I'm just a fan of pro enviro development!

Well, your degree will be worthless, but the experience is priceless.

Unfortunately these days, anyone with a pulse can complete a bachelor's degree. I've got 2 of them, neither have done anything to contribute to my career other than good life skills like time/priority management.

Finish your degree with the hopes of getting a MD/PhD. It's certainly not a bad thing to get your BS, but don't expect companies to drop their panties over you. That's not a reason to do it.

What are your degrees in? I think degrees that are a little more specific like mine are useful to some extent!

I'll definitely do a masters program once I'm done with this one. There's a few PhD programs out there for this, but I dunno how interested I am in that.
