Enchantering in the Hole

I've been spending a lot of time in there and finally checked it out and found my forum login. Illusion: Earth Elemental and level 20 Benevolence spell (200 fac adj) still leaves me at threatening. Pretty close to dinging 51, it's 300 adjusted faction, maybe that'll put me over to dubious.

I was hoping I could roam a bit to explore, I have an urge to crawl around and explore more in the hole than just the entrance but I don't want to be suicidal about it, if I can look around without agro for some parts that'd be sweet.

Was duoing with a 53 Nec and was hoping we could perhaps duo the undead tower but I spoke to someone who had been in there and said it would be too tough until 58-60. If anyone has some pointers on useful camps or xp spots in there let me know!

I also tried making a level 1 and dropping down into Yael's room but no matter what as soon as I zoned if I held down move backwards I'd still fall straight down and crater. There some trick to that, or does that not work on p99?

Scroll your fps to 100 and do the fall.

I usually only take 1 fall damage.

Is the Hafling rogue to Brell non KOS to the elementals and golems on p99? they were not KOS on live. used them for CRs all the time.

I guess someone will chime in authoritatively, but I would guess you're not KoS. I saw a naked halfling repeatedly run down the hall with no agro there yesterday, I bet he was non KoS and dragging corpses.

halflings and dwarves that worship brell are non-kos to elementals and golems, they will be kos to undead and ratmen.

brell halfling can go anywhere in the hole with hide/sneak

Instead of dropping down, just calm each mob on way down to the drop off. If u catch aggro just mez and mem blur. Once your at castle just calm the 2 entrance elementals and you can invis/ivu the rest of the way through.
I keep a lvl 1 erudite parked to open door for group members. On red I did 48-55 at castle ent and everytime a new person came I would gate up and bring them down no problem. Just remember... You dont need lns to calm so it is pretty much cake to get through and zone/camp.

So moral of the story is don't screw up faction on enchanter if at all possible.
