I mean its clearly possible to copy and paste . . . but I just don't see any benefit to the new system

Links will copy over this way... but I have noticed there is no way to retain quotes... so I would have to redo all the quotes in my feedback thread every single time...

It takes all of 2 minutes to change editing permissions for individual subforms on vbulletin, if the admins can't figure it out I'd be glad to help.

It was probably implemented so people can't go weeks or months back and edit out there posts. I remember Dredge deleted all his posts in an attempt to avoid a ban.

But yes, ECT should be the exception

Forum editing was as much a feature of message boards in 1999 as it is today.
