You imply your not not elitist yet invite some the most elitist and inflammatory names over from blue to red. You seem like a decent guy but it's a good way to alienate some ppl from Holocaust.

With my final post on the matter (now that it has been brought up 3 times and reviewed each time)... I'm going to wall of text some feels on the current state of the server, the situation at hand and my outlook going forward:
Some people are really upset they couldn't keep this a 40-80 player box where their guild hoarded everything for themselves and their alts. The pop at times is 350+ and rising. You're out numbered by those who aren't greedy or elitist or cruel to new players like you. You're the ones who are fucked now not the "casuals" or the "bluebies". I look forward to a new era where pvp isn't filled with hate spew (talked exactly 0 shit after killing Xylaw, Bubbo or anyone else on my current 14 kill streak). I look forward to a box where people can win because someone else played their hand well and not because someone else is a retard. Your reaches to circumvent this are desperate and completely unappealing to new people seeking a stable guild that promotes self improvement over anger and ban fishing. We're going to keep handing out raid loot to even the playing field too. No more "go back to blue, you're bad" and stomping people in advisor robes with epics/VP chars. Kammbo and others from blue have gear like the old Nilly/Az core now, and they're going to kick your ass. We've destroyed nearly every trace of those who would stagnate or destroy any chance of people even playing here to ensure their own greedy gains. I could erase my wizard right now and be happy. Reasons? - We've dethroned the two guilds who, without a fucking doubt, were the primary reason the population was suffering. It was not easy. Fresh forgets the days when Azrael would grief nearly every planar clear. - Holocaust is the #1 guild - (Not that I had really anything to do with this one but) Haynar, who is easily the most talented developer on this project has made a huge PvP focus. I believe he stumbled upon reading our beloved PvP community's forums and decided to reciprocate some classic love in exchange for the entertainment this forum provides. Just a guess there but likely. The only ways you can hurt the population now will get you banned because of classic PNP. The only way you will take down Holo is the old fashioned way. Start finding a tolerance for grouping/guilding with new players and helping them. Being angry is a waste of time. Start helping improve the community rather than attacking the people who do. Agatha is jumping up and down in the reject AIM chat about how I'm sweating or something and that GMs are talking to me. None of these things are true. No GM is talking to me, I've already had Rogean personally go through my trade logs and ensure I have no history of RMT. Tune in to Gongshow's stream for when we start clearing VP, then form up to contest. You can literally start helping unguilded players right now like we did finish their VP keys, help them with their epics and sell them half price resist gear. It's not rocket science, just stop being selfish and spending your time/effort being angry. For every person that posts about how I'm this horrible, evil person.. there's 80 more that were shocked that I passed an item to them after I won the roll because I decided they were the person in group who needed it most. Or sent them a PM out of the blue about how to get unstuck in the game or play their class better. Or stayed up late helping them corpse recover. Or transferred extremely large amounts of plat/items without stealing anything because they felt I was the only person on this server they could actually trust. I report exploits, I report naming violations, I have helped to the best of my ability (and quite successfully imo) to turn this server into a place where the core of AIM chat could leave and Holocaust would keep running and still be #1. If Holocaust ever became anything like Nihilum where we expressly griefed new players, hid a developer in our guild etc I would leave on the spot and seek to mend ties with any lesser evil remotely capable of hurting their progress. That said it is my top goal above everything else in gaming to see EQ PvP be preserved somewhere and in a classic state instead of some hacked together fucked up pile of shit with macroquest / hate spew. Sirken can attest to me pleading Gaffin's case that being banned over 3 items is pretty stupid. But you know what else is pretty stupid? Trying to extort me for a Donal's breastplate when I offer your stolen items back on the spot then ignoring me. Here's my initial petition back in November about the issue. Gaffin began demanding proof that I wasn't "selling him out" and I've already sent this to him during that whole ordeal of him freaking out. I can't edit posts in petition/exploit so: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Go ahead and side with the guy getting people banned over 3 items because he's an emotional train wreck that extorts people for more items when they are offered back to him immediately. In other news. I'll repeat something else I've said before: Don't start a scum war with me or AIM chat. I'm not interested in this kind of play, and playing for vengeance instead of fun/guild improvement is just draining and turns something I enjoy playing into a 2nd hateful job. To those seeking to slander my name: this is your last warning. I'm tired of it. If I go quiet on the forums its because I'm busy returning the favor. | ||
