I remember only being able to root 4 mobs as well at some point. If i remember correctly when you tried to root a 5th, one of the previous 4 would wear off. This was before velious, i thought.

I've lobbied for this change before, but cannot find any supporting evidence.

But root should follow the same logic as any immobility spell (ex. snare) wherein it's only able to affect 4 NPCs.

Nah they're right. There's been at least one thread in Bugs about it (a year or two back, lol). None of the :classicatallcosts: nerds has risin up to champion this cause however, and so justice is still denied to shaman haters p99-wide. Not sure when it was changed on live, probably during Velious at a guess.

The regular spiders were shit resists, occasional root resist for a 60 but very rarely

The named spiders were should actually be pretty damn resistant: the devourer / stalker

in about 3 years. probably about 400 people + their alts from guilds capable of clearing trash in it first in line.

dragon armor goes to the top dogs, giant for the few guilds incapable of spending 24/7 online but still want something decent to wear. kael arena will either be considered a single camp or have a bunch of groups camping 2-3 giants each and everyone else will be stuck in PoG and occasionally go to PoH for their paladins, druids and rangers when they get tired of their crying. expect massive amounts of petition quest on who got FTE on PoG trash.

the only reason to raid RoK post-SoV is for epics as almost everything save for a select few items will be outclassed by trash drops. sov raid content that is worth anything will go to the 1-2 top guilds on the server who will clear it all in a few nights while their b-squads and apps continue squatting in tov to hold down the fort. winter is coming.
