You learn to play with each other. Guilds talked, you remember that? That's how it went down on live. and anyone that's claiming that it would be a massive problem is someone who never raided back then nor knows what EQ raiding was/is. Let the children learn to play with each other, it becomes a requirement in kunark.

This isnt live. This is a Emulator server with a bunch of "i wanna get all the lewts first". So dont start that shit i remember when i was in DA we tryed to work things out with IB sorry didnt work, You know what they said it ruins the compeitive play in the game which is somewhat true. But throwing 40 ppl at a mob to kill it in 30 seconds doesnt take much skill at all.

This is exactly why the raiding scene here is nothing but one big farm. Guilds don't raid because they enjoy the challenge, they raid for easy loot.

This. Why the f... are people playing like this on here when they can just join the Void server and #finditem, #summonitem stuff? Do they actually feel some kind of accomplishment right now? If so, I genuinely pity them. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

It appears based on your first post on the forums that you never understood why people played the game this way.

I never was a hardcore raider - maybe because I am from Europe, but was a member of an US based guild since the first day which meant raids usually at night for me -, nor did I ever play excessivley.

I used SEQ on live when I played on Sullon Zek. I used it for finding players though, cause tracking was worthless back then for finding players... never worked good at all.

Guilds like that were ostracized and everyone avoided them. They were bullied out from spawns and then quickly fell, reformed and fell.

These stories have been written and they always end the same way.

The ban itself does nothing, a guild this size can afford to privately sponsor cheaters with a backup plan in the rare case that the person is caught(characters and accounts given to the guild by members who quit, I know I have access to at least 10 level 50 chars)

I'd wager the offender was back in DA within an hour under a different name with more knowledge of how to avoid getting caught =P

The week raiding ban is the $$$ though, this is an actual punishment to all involved or those who turned a blind eye etc. Should make it the norm, 2 weeks with /guild disband for 3rd offense, no warnings or excuses to really drive the point home.

If he were allowed to return, I would not stay. I am certain that this is true of many other members.
