Meh, you know what I meant. You'll still have plenty of upgrades over Kunark available but you'll be significantly outgeared if you can't even bring 40ish and drop some of the tier 2 mobs. Plus 0 access to primals, most of the FT gear and all of the atk aura items pretty much.

Honestly don't remember what the minimum raid force is for the easier NTOV dragons but it's more than Azrael has currently. Without any real desire to build up a raid force there is no reason to think that Azrael will be doing anything other than fighting over the scraps the one or maybe two bigger guilds don't have time to get to.

One of the issues of Velious was the design philosophy changed to fit the amount of players guilds were raiding with, instead of of a number considered reasonable. That is the reason you can kill VP dragons with 3 groups, but need almost triple that in Velious. This design philosophy not only encourages zerging shit like in classic/Kunark but makes it the requirement.

Even in PVP EQ is very gear based. The top end raid loot in Velious is like having PD crowns in every slot - 100+ HP items with a ton of resists. That is why I always like classic the best, you had to make meaningful choices between stats and resists in nearly every slot. If you wanted to ensure you weren't getting rooted/snared you really had to sell out a lot of HPs/int/str/etc. In Velious there is so much resist all gear with tons of stats the choices go away and just give a huge advantage to whoever is top end raid geared.

ya because naked people running into fear while the zone in isn't being kited isn't going to result in trains, right?

Pretty sure that screenshots shows colgate was being hit by mobs and the video shows him flopping that agro onto others then reengaging for PVP.
