I HEARD IB were a bunch of pricks and so on...but every time I come in contact with one its usually an enjoyable experience. I've gotten a few ports for free for CR, even had one save me @ the WC rings when I had about a billion dervs on me when I was lvl 15ish.

Don't recall the names, but I know Girth from Torvonnilous, who was a great monk, and a pretty decent dude too.

IB members in regular xp zones generally aren't dicks, catch them on a raid spawn or clearing sky against another guild and you'll quickly see shit go downhill like a landslide.

Those nice members that helped you out will quickly become cutthroat in a raid situation. I've never seen an IB member come up to Abacab and go "Hey want this Dracoliche?" sure they do ut with pissant seafuries but only reception I've gotten from IB in a raid zone has been consistent /ooc spam of personal insults, R&F drama over plane of hate, trains, and /petitions in an attempt to banhammer their competition.

Dont confuse being nice and courteous with a lack of competitiveness here abacab. In every day play scenario we are nice and friendly, there is no reason not to be.
Conversely though, in a raid situation you are either in IB or against IB, and IB is not in the business of handing anyone a raid target. Why would we? the whole concept seems kind of counterproductive tbh.

Well we did give WI that naggy even after they failed to answer role call. I thought that was pretty stand up of us, even though probably half our raid or more wanted to take it.

Abacab, you really don't deserve an opinion about others being dicks or not in game. You are quite possibly the biggest asshole this server has seen, at least in game. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

For all the circle jerking in this thread I feel this should be emphasized. Abacab, despite being worse probably, does have a point. I feel I should say though that this goes for a few guilds on this server, but I've definitely seen both sides.

I've seen IB members be dicks... but much much less than other guilds and unlike most of the other guilds i've seen more positive than negative coming from IB.

Turning mobilizes really quickly on seafuries so he's bound to get caught up in some drama. Like my Bard was one casting bubble away from doting a seafury and he nuked it. Lots of close calls like that happen with seafuries and it's good that he can see when he's not actually the first to engage.

We are quite nice. I have had way more trouble with others guilds than I did with IB(before I joined them). Girth is also a beast.
