I wouldn't want to measure headphones by how many deaf people use them.

How about reading some articles from some audiophiles and taking their advice.

Helicopter pilots started using them. Pretty soon the USAF in fighter jets.

I never really even listened to music before Dr Dre beats. I'm glad I have a reason to now. Well worth the $$.
