Tried red last few days. Made it to level 6 then was camped by a twink named something like Sweatyvagina or Vaginasquirt that wouldn't leave CB zoneline. Guess they looted the 4p I had managed to save for spells.

Plat can be farmed on red at THREE TIMES the value of blue while you sell items in blue EC, look for ports, or are LFG. Red is better than gems, give it a try. You have 3 whole days to get a character up!

is it just me, or does this whole beta test weekend really just seem like a red recruitment thing?

so besides the 2 weeks to 60, free epics for all, and all loot camps open..the new enticement is what the trade value is between servers?

they stopped character sales, this cross server trading should be shut down

Yup, red or beta, no option.
I will catch up on other games unless both are shut down.

I hate PvP so much if I got into one encounter a month Red still wouldn't be worth my time. One of the reasons I stick to EQ is you don't NEED PvP for anything. When i go to any other game, BGs are super encouraged and needed for certain items etc. Hate it so much. Such a waste of time IMO.

I'm not big on pvp at all either. But I have found that the red server is just more fun than blue. I really thought it would be the opposite, but people are actually way more laid back on red than they are on blue. Seems weird, but its true.
