Have a 36 shaman ikky on red. Having more fun than I ever have for 10 years , since quitting eq. You can always find a group at/in the most popular leveling zones. But you better believe that the higher pop the zone, the more pvp you need to watch out for the epic twink rogues and the twinked wizzys . hit u hard.

(pre edit) differences between blue and red
Blue = horrible court room atmosphere filled with angry people trying to sue the shit out of each other for pixels, trying to get other guilds raid banned, or diminishing guild's chances of pixels versus themselves.

Red = chilled out pvp environment that everyone can enjoy.

Fek it, I'll create a char and see how it goes. Prioritize grouping!

I have one 60 and another over 55. I have been battling with the choice of starting on red. But I can't get past starting with literally nothing again. Took me like 3 hours to get to level 6 as a Druid in gfay. And I haven't even pvp'd yet. So that's not including the rage of getting corpse camped.

Dwarf Paladin ... OF COURSE. Hence the Butcher block. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Ok sounds good. I just want to see a Holy Defender in my lifetime and I'll be a happy EQer.

Will contact <Fresh>, thanks!

Get involved with a guild and it'll likely happen far quicker on red than it would have on blue.

Good luck wormed and keep this thread updated with your progress [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Enchanter, Mage, Shaman are real nice starters if you come here with nothing.

Great farm classes, lots of open camps.

If you're proficient at camping VP key stuff, those MQ's minus the tooth sell for like 80-100k
