Random people also in rags aren't likely to bother ya. Tanks are fairly in demand for leveling groups. As long as you're not on the red eye / europe shift you shouldnt have too much trouble grouping.

That depends on whether or not I can secure some equipment, at least a SotM, banded, and 2 55HP rings. I can't really expect to tank and deal reasonable damage or live long without at least that, even if I have good snap aggro.

Hopefully there's a market for Bone Chips.

Best way to get yourself some fast, easy cash is get yourself 2 magic weapons and just farm willowisps. Each greater light stone will yield you 11pp after you do the quest at gypsy camp in karanas. At level 15 or so you should be able to slaughter the whole island. Just empty your bags and fill them up. Each run will yield you 600pp or so.
