He started tracking you while you were in range. It doesn't stop when you go out of range.

just so you guys know, with macroquest there are plugins that you can track players with just like the FIND Button on live, where you get a glowing path

also /tar and /face are zonewide

and MQ is still un detectable on red99 with the right compile
