If you were on blue I'd say maybe try Droga. Don't know about r99 though.

But ya, seems like grouping in seb or something might be your answer. If that's even possible on red.

No idea what items go for on red, but you could do mistmoore. You should be able to solo camp both the cloaked dhampyre and Lasna Cheroon at the same time. Resist stuff probably sells well on red, so you could also slaughter stuff in the Gorge of King Xorbb and hope you get lucky with Spinflint spawns.

Cash camps you could do would be halfling guards in Misty or skeleton guards in Paineel if you can get in.

However, if you are getting 1k an hour on your current camp, I don't know how you're going to find something better. That is a solid farm rate and better than people can get at seafuries most of the time.

A few low level camps ideas come to mind although I'm not sure how crowded they are on red: guards in Felwithe of in Misty, Splitpaw. All these place drops tons of FS weapons. Maybe not the best money camps but should be steady at your level.

Camping plat on red in your situation is a waste of time. Join holo or az and get decked out via raids within a month. People are selling BE BP for 10k and greaves for 15-20.

on the blue server i have a 56 ranger. sometimes i get bored and will farm highkeep guards for a few hours. they drop a little bit of coin and a fine steel sword everytime. sells for 5pp and some change. there is a banker in highkeep that you can bank with even if she is attacking you. its not the fastest money making ever. but its 100% self reliant because you dont have to find someone to sell shit to. by the time you kill the last guard the first ones you killed will be getting ready to respawn soon. just keep doing the cycle and you will slowly line your pockets. eventually i was able to afford a 50k BP thanks to those guards.

I screwed up (etc).
Can you handle giving your monk a 2nd try without ragequitting after 1 pvp death?

Maybe we can try to start a core group again, and stay within proper range~ All it requires is a little self control to say no to pixel/PL frenzy when members aren't online.

No single player, besides an Enchanter(but not as quickly nor as safely), can efficiently farm items/platinum...

Playing a monk does not solve the problem. Soloing cash camps as a monk is almost as bad as an SK. I did however start camping Goblin Gazhugi/Courier spawn. I would not recommend this to my worst enemies, I'm sticking it out though. 6 hours in, 14 couriers, 0 drops. GL.

And heartbrand, there are really only 2 active leveling SKs in holo, and I'm one of them.:P
