Is an asshat a hat you wear on your ass or an ass you wear on your head? And is Seafury Island the only place asshatterers practice their trade?

Hehe, I am one of those wizards running around island at times and on third turn around the island with one Cyclops on my rear wondering ??where did all the clops go!!? It can be fun at times with playful teasing and competition to see who can snag a mob first. I have only played there for 3 days, so don’t know history of the place.
However, I think Ducket is referring to the other night. The mobs were spawning regularly and everyone seemed to be in a nice flow. There was a shaman rooting his 3 mobs on the shore. A druid or wiz would quad every 12-15 minutes when all the sudden no mobs. It turned out 2 high level necros showed up and took the hilltop and were killing everything that spawned. They had every right to be there and made it look ridiculously easy to kill the clops. However after about 20 minutes of nothing to pull, the necros started taunting players in ooc, which to me is no class. You can’t do anything about it and can only wish they will go away. Oh, and Swish that poor cat has been drinking too much coffee!

Sounds like fun. Classic EQ.
You do know that you don't have to play in the popular spots, right? The low population of p99 compared to live means that going even a little off the beaten trail often means you won't see many other players for long stretches of time. Folks also tend to generally be nicer in the lower pop area IMO also.

I think anybody complaining about Seafuries is A BIG NO-FUN WHINER!
Honestly, I've had so much fun at Seafuries in the last week. Where else in the game on blue can we actively engage in friendly competition with other players? The reward for winning the friendly competition? PLATINUM!! Who couldn't love this place?? But seriously, this place is a blast. It's fun competition to tag them cyclops. If a wizard is able to snag a full quad, PROPS TO HIM!! He just beat a bunch of slow people on the island! People should not be stealing any of his quads... and I hope any of those wizards actively petition if they do notice somebody snagging one of their mobs. Am I going to root rot 4 cyclops at a time? YOU BET I AM!!!! That's what we came to this land for right?? To kill cyclops!!! Really though, if I'm root rotting 4 cyclops at a time, then either the island is pretty empty(and why would you complain about that), or you are just really bad at tagging cyclops(which is possible... I sometimes see players just running around the entire island for hours, never choosing a spot, barely getting any tags at all). My point of this post is.... seafuries is fun competition. FTE reins supreme. If somebody beats you to a cyclops, you don't get angry at them... you get angry AT YOURSELF FOR SUCKING!!!

I feel like it would be a lot more efficient for quadders to just single pull/nuke then med when seafuries is crowded. Better than kiting around for 10 min while you're not medding and also speeds up the spawns for everyone.
And shamans...they should have to cast at least 1 mana costing damage spell..
