Listening to the stream about RMT. It confirms what we already knew. The entire history of Red99 was rendered non legit by rampant RMT that the staff belatedly made strides to address. Misleading statement. There is RMT on both servers. If anything there is less on Red than Blue.

I'm not sure what past GM's uncovered, but the guild-related RMT was only recently brought to our attention with enough evidence to be taken seriously. Again, still less on Red than on Blue, and in Nihilum's case specifically was not that wide-spread. Nizzar certainly was participating in RMT but not in huge volumes and no where near the capacity that it's done on Blue.

I don't really see how this would effect the play-ability of the server as a whole, either. It's not like items were duped or anything like that - they were simply sold for RL cash instead of platinum.

To be honest I never realised Nizzar actually RMTed until I saw the video Sektors posted and saw some of the other R99 players listed in that video... RIP Ganka, woulda been awesome running around with an extra aussie...

As an attempt to downplay the impact of rmt on the integrity of the server, this post was a spectacular failure. Nizzar didn't participate in "huge amounts" of rmt? Just fairly large I guess?

Not huge amounts as in if you were playing this game you wouldn't see a difference with your experience if the RMT had never happened. It wasn't game changing.

RMT isn't as bad as exploiting or other types of cheats. That is the worst for servers and if you are going to complain about anything with this server it should be the early abuse that happened at server start. With that said Kunark has been out for so damn long that pretty much anyone that puts in time and has played for 6 months + has whatever they want anyways so who cares?
