I've been YT other players on a daily basis when I wasn't raiding. pulling out and old screenshot after killing me once just shows how good I was [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Was it you or somebody else that made a video of their toon getting killed over and over because they were too dumb to call lns instead of bind rushing the fire pots while naked? That was good lulz.

How many times do you think someone that logs in once a week is going to keep coming back to a box just to start over? Neckbeards are going to farm shit and make twinks no matter what. Casuals ate going to stop coming back and you'll end up with the same 30 people in an endless circle jerk.

iam not going to deny it but still, what do you prefer?

opening another dozens of zones (velious) with the handfull of players currently playing or having double or tripple the playerbase in half the zones we have right now with kunark in a classic environment?

added to that the lvl gap with maxlvl 50 in classic would be lower resulting in more pvp than we have now.

I actually agree with you because if I had the choice to play on a fresh red99 server I would, but I don't think it will happen. Kergan had a good suggestion when this was brought up prior. Open a new red99 server and have it merge into the current server once a year to avoid having any kind of wipe. Then start up a new one.

They have a server free, but it is for Velious beta. It is a stretch either way but not even a discussion until Velious beta is over with.

I think it would be cool. "Seasons" are the new rage, where each one has its own unique thing going on. I think we could do something like that.

As far as hardware goes, I'd personally send Rogean a server (1 or 2 Dell blades) capable of running EQ if that is what it would take. I have a pile of 'em decommissioned sitting in my server room right now.

the griefing aspect will also be lower with classic since classic twinkgear is nothing compared to kunark or velious gear as we all know. so, another problem resolved with classic.

we all want to pvp and i highly doubt that all of you are enjoying this server by doing those real fights just once a week contesting bossmobs and leveling alts the other 6 days. i did not, and thats why i quit some months ago.
