How about, instead, you contact all the people who had access to your account, talk to them. Then when that doesn't pan out, do your /faceroll derping in server chat.

Defaulting to this as your first course of action seems dumb.

Neither, GM's searched logs for me. I was hoping that the person would come forward and just give me the item back so it could be forgotten. Your question is still irrelevant given the fact that I know there are several other people who have access besides the ones I messaged that I have forgotten over the last 3 years.

I'm just saying you should've contacted people who you knew (which you did), then if they all respond that they didn't take it, then you reach out to GMs (which it sounds like you did).

Making this post seems unnecessary since it didn't help and just foster the "name and shame" posts.

Kunark has been out for 2 years, how many people do you actually know that actively play on this server that don't have a fungi? You would have to intentionally avoid getting one.

Where am I complaining or not accepting the risk? I'm simply attempting to get my item back. Does accepting the risk mean I shouldn't at least try to get it back?
