Looking for one, maybe two more adventuring women to come join us tonight for this segment on GMChat. We're going to spend about an hour talking about women in gaming; the challenges they face, advantages they may have, where gaming is headed in the future, as well as what it used to be like for women who didn't follow traditional "gender roles" for entertainment.

I'll also be discussing female protagonists in games, and why a strong female lead (read: not just a pair of tits) can make or break a game. I'll also briefly share my thoughts on the latest 'scandal' to break out of the gaming industry, involving female game developer Zoe Quinn, and allow anyone joining me who's familiar with the subject to do the same.

I missed the chat, but did you all touch on how far downhill MMORPGs have gone since women started playing them more? The reason you won't ever have anything as good as original EQ is because too many women play games these days.
