I just found out about Project1999. I was on RZ back in Kunark-Velios days. I ganked in S Karana a lot. DE Necro named Vooradoor. Had so much fun I just created another DE Necro named Voorador.

i still collect sol ro armor, wish it was no drop here. feels so lame being tradable. one of the few cool things about luclin was the newb armor quests. you could finally gear out a low level alt with no drop and not be naked.

Yup. That was the one cool thing. Sad part was how dead real cities were in the bazaar era. No more gfay battlegrounds.

There were deleveled rogues early on because you kept full skills when you deleveled, so you could be a level 10 rogue with 200 backstab skill, and it was insane 1 hit kill left and right, so at that point no one needed epics if they were even released yet.
Sometime in luclin era people got bored and had surplus good gear and made epic twinks, it took a while but by pop there were a lot of them. Then ldon came out with augments effectively ending item loot so everyone that was cool sold all of their plat on EGI, and then the servers merged and the rest of the people clinging to the game quit too. Fungi twinks were pretty hard to find for me, but there were a lot of ikky regen twinks and that was really the main thing I went after. FBSS was consolation prize.

ye once pop came out FoB became the low level pvp battle ground. sometimes clicking on that book meant instant death. i have better memory of people back then because i played a little more. people like greenfairy, i will probably never forget. fuckin crazy times but i finally quit around ldon. fungi twinks were very rare. thats why i laugh when people talk about twinking killing lowbies is classic. twinks back then had a mith 2 hander or some shit. nothing like you see on here.

Xblade was my irl friend and we scored our first fungi tunic by ganking a fungi twink in mistmoore using some pretty fatal necro dots and some blind spam from x so that he couldn't bag it!

Lots of fun. Crying like a baby for a P99 rallos zek item loot server is the main reason I come to the forums. I am afraid of the eventually making a teams server and having item loot there, because I feel hardcoded teams are a recipe for failure, but all of the blue emu guys from R99 that only care about pixels will take that as a sign that item loot is bad.
