I love how you all think we don't understand how aggro mechanics work. But no, not all of these people were on the encounter list because Theya set an AE off on top of eveyrone. If that were the case, their aggro delay timers would have the same delay. Instead, they are staggered, and not in the appropriate interval for dragon fear. This indicates that they did something to get on the encounter log - sent in a pet, threw a jav, etc - something that we can actually see on one of the fraps (someone throwing a Jav after the AG FTE).

Don't come out and try to imply we don't know what we're doing when half the people posting in this thread don't even know how to read an encounter log, let alone ascertain what happened in a cluster fuck like this.

Edit: Should also be mentioned that the pet's didn't add people to the hatelist in all cases either - some of the classes added are *not* pet classes.

Also, dragon fear does not add you to a mobs hatelist all by itself. You need to do something to pick up aggro. Neither do AE breath attacks.

False. The bards would not be on the same delay as the mages because it takes 10 seconds to coth them. The bards get added when their songs hit the mages that coth'ed them.

By the logs it is obvious that Theya for Taken and Golden for TMO both at one point mistakenly javved Sev thinking they were going to get a new FTE. It also shows both IB and BDA's mages uniformly getting added to the hate list when AE's were set off. The Bards coth'ed by BDA after that getting added to the hate list when their songs hit the mages. It shows that Golden's song added both Saragirl and Yibz when he got near them. It's all in the group ID's on the logs man.

Every single person but Yibz gets added to that hate list before Zepharis of IB leaves it and he was the first mage on the list not named Nemce. It shows that what Theya did took aggro off the mages and forced him to move somewhere else closer to the other coth mages before the next AE went off. Close a thread to stop replies...Nice.

^I locked the thread so I didn't have to reply to anymore posts. Some of what you are saying is correct, and some is not, but I'm tired of going over this issue again and again.

AE's don't add people to mobs hate lists. The mages are on there because of their pets. If Theya took the dragon and ran, why are BDA mages COTH'ing bards in 40+ seconds after she got aggro? Shouldn't those mages be camping their aggro so they get off the list..?

Why is golden throwing a jav a full twenty seconds after the intial FTE message? That's a whole eleven seconds after Theya, by the way.

There were so many mistakes made here, and from the replies in every thread except the one in raid discussion, it's clear that there are many people who don't understand what this encounter log shows. This log + testimony from the people we spoke with led to our decision to call this a wash.
