If you want someone run off the box your best bet is to convince Colgate. No one else is going to deliver.

Best thing you can do to get closer to Colgate is join Holocaust.

With this server very few people had no baggage with them. We knew who the truly loyal people were in the guild.

But in the end people make mistakes and they trust the wrong person.

What does azrael do to help up and coming guilds or players pikrib? When that CoF got ninja'd the other day there was really no main characters there that needed it?

Something this simple has always been the problem with Azrael and I think it has done more damage than any other guild on the server. It is why people that have been around a long time want Azrael gone.

Several guilds that have been up and coming throughout the server history were swallowed up by Azrael. Azrael is attractive to top players that are 60 with decent gear in a new guild . As long as the up and coming guilds are running Azrael is fine but sooner or later the new guild's core gets tired of being a feeder guild. Azrael no longer has any incoming players and their success fizzles out.

Azrael not having a foundation or welcoming players level 50+ has been a bigger detriment to the server than I think most realize.

The idea of having minimum raid sized guilds is all fluff and BS propaganda. It will never work. You aren't going to have a pool of players sitting around waiting for the top tier guilds to have players fizzle out before they get their turn. New players with no gear need to be teamed up with vets to have success in end game content. You aren't going to have a team of 20 players in rags begin to take targets from another team of 20 fully geared players.

For a guild to succeed they need to have a foundation to progress players from level 50 as well as some retention at level 60 to down raid content. New guilds will never achieve this with a guild like Azrael around. If someone gets tired of how big Holocaust is right now and starts their own crew they will eventually have their best players that want to fight Holocaust poached by Azrael.

Azrael is a black hole of geared 60's that want to compete against the number 1 guild.

People compare Holocaust to Nihilum because they are the current number 1 guild but any guild will fall into this role as long as Azrael is around. Holocaust is a lot better than Nihilum because of the intentions and fairness of the leadership.
