There's no way you can name my blue bard. I haven't played blue since red launched (except maybe to test a bard quest while building meso), and I haven't participated in any cross-server trades or anything.

And you don't remember Meso in FF - that's correct as he was never tagged. FF reformed to RD before Meso was even close to a taggable level, and we all know what happened to RD v.1.

For the record i think variance is a good idea, just think Lite is being a baby about not keeping that shit in one thread.

I persisted for a long time on xp loss in pvp but i never was that annoying like making a thread every 2 days about it

Not that it matters, but the reasons I "supported" variance at the time no longer apply. The server pop was half, Nihilum was raiding with fewer numbers, sim repops didn't exist, and Nihilum members were threatening to quit over it.

It was a way to grief Nihilum into quitting / giving up, and thus strengthen my own guild.

Aka it was a selfish argument not based on lasting server health, but based on momentary gain for my own guild.

I was also building my guild to be a poopsocking pve guild who could stand to benefit / exploit variance as opposed to a small crew of pvpers who would get wrecked by variance's requirement that you zerg [see: blue]. Thanks!

Since I am basically a lawyer from all the Law and Order I've watched I know that you cannot trust a flip floppen snitch who is receiving a deal from the crown for his testimony.

HB is the most incredible person on the forums, you can only try to take his logic at face value and assess it at that, if you look any deeper it's always selfish motives no matter which side he argues or plays for. Aka it's going hard on Nizzar's dick for redemption and Velious loot because there's a good possibility Tune/Nizzar are just using him and laughing at him.

Stasis, the problem with making it the entire point of your R99 existence to snuff out Nihilum is that you aren't changing anything. Even if Nihilum was disbanded and every member banned tomorrow, within a month another guild would take its place.

It's EverQuest bro. It's the way this game works, and it is the way it always has worked. There are plenty of other choices for servers to play on that don't have a goal of duplicating the classic EQ experience - which not only encourages but basically requires a big dominant uberguild.

Maybe you and your crew should try one of those out.
