![]() As a necro what you could do is chain in summoned pets. This is something you see mages do more often than necros and takes timing.
But if you can get him low enough with the original pet, and time it up just right so that: (1) pet dies, (2) new pet appears (3) you FD or run away from summoning while you send it in and let it get agro; you could maybe pull it off.

![]() I imagine the Spectre pet will last about 20 seconds doing minimal dps and I run out of mana very quick.

![]() Is the golem charmable, and does it stick long enough? If so, could reverse charm work?
Charm the golem, send it against a few mobs inside the Outpost at a time, root them, and let the golem get all beaten up. Whatever inhabitants of the Outpost die will be considered collateral damage [You must be logged in to view images. ![]() Necro pet takes way too much mana and the cast time is way too long to chain cast plus chain casting pets on summoning mobs takes some serious skill. I killed a cliff golem on live chaining 51 earth pets, IIRC each pet did less than 10% of his hp. And this was on live so there so no pet window to spam back off on while casting. You had to type /pet back off and spam shift-up while casting and then type /pet get lost right before it finished, and dial up didn't help all of this at all. I used to do the same thing farming reavers but that was a little easier cause of a smaller hit box and pet is blind anyway so it just wants to run away.
Anyway for a necro solo I would try using a charmed pet and summon kite him, also using HS and DA idol..just gotta get lucky with charm breaks. Or hit charmed pet with reaper/soulfire.

![]() I don't know if it is doable really. It'd be awfully tight. Even with great luck (i.e. no charm breaks and no bashstuns when necro is trying to run away after summons)... I mean, the golem nearly killed a foreman when I did him with my enchanter, and he was 70% slowed, and foreman had at least 2k in bedlams and rune 5s over the course of the fight, and I tanked enrage, etc.

![]() Is Captain Rottgrime charmable? He's got 28k HP and is 5 levels higher.
Also maybe train the golem through the scorpikis valley. A ton of harmtouching SK mobs can maybe take a chunk of HP out.

![]() The only issue will be getting rid of the aggro transfered from a ton of scorpikis when charm breaks [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Maybe a necro with puppet strings can pull off this one (strings to charm the Golem, FD to wipe aggro from the scorpikis), charming the Foreman to give the coupe de grace.
