Lol it's cute that you think $100 is a significant amount of money that can affect my life.

On the upside, I don't sit playing countless hours on a corrupt server like a pathetic sack of shit years after its corruption was publicly outed. I got that going for me.

Lol @ progression RoI, got nothing good to say about a guild who gives the ultimatum "we found out you have a full-time job, give us your login info or you're kicked for not logging in enough hours" 8 hours a day wasn't enough back then apparently.

Was promptly kicked for linking my server first staff of the wheel in guildchat. Good times.

Don't forget xp farming in that non classic zone off of surefall glade, or even better if you found that npc they forgot to remove in qeynos you could do instanced missions for boatloads of xp and gear that wouldn't exist for 8 expansions. Exploiting the system to keep the elite elite in RL and in game. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

That Qeynos Hills instance was interesting because no one ever really did it before progression, so some people had all this random loot that's still not documented anywhere. Allakhazam lists 5 rewards, but there was a lot more. I used that earring for awhile. There was some nautical themed shield that 1 or 2 people on the server had that was very nice, I assume it comes from this instance.

However the most exploited NPC was this guy:

http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=6611

He had a lot less items listed in his loot table before progression. I'm pretty sure there was other stuff that's still not listed there. He was essentially a raid mob on a 20-30 minute respawn. Farming him was actually kinda fun, but they did eventually remove him from The Combine and The Sleeper.

A lot of that stuff still doesn't compare to the hot zone loot that was never removed:

from KC were particularly powerful for the era.
