I'd but kind of curious how you actually brick a computer. Sure you could scramble the OS or encrypt everything but that would only take a format and reinstall. I'm sure it's possible somehow but causing real permanent physical harm to a computer would have to be fairly difficult.

lol ran into a hacker last night on red, Girlfriend in steamfont... instawarped and admitted to it... abacab already told u guys how to try and circumvent the dll and he was right

It is not dangerous.
It was not just installed in the last update. It's been part of the game for ages (since 2011, I think).
It does not make your system insecure.
It certainly does not turn your system into a brick.

However, tin foil hats supplied separately.
