hmm...

glad op got out, but isn't surviving a mistake like camping out in fear without having a way out part of the game? i'm not sure i understand why a gm would deprive the player of a legitimate play experience...don't get me wrong, if this is the gm policy for the server than i am glad that gms responded and did their duty as they always do...

folks organizing a rescue party, player making a heart-pounding run for the zone out, etc would have been a much better EQ story imo.
