I love this server and I appreciate all the work that goes into it, but this is really a puzzling thing to waste effort on.

It's not a meaningful restriction of information like the classic spellbook or lack of item linking. It's just an arbitrary nerf to readability. It doesn't make the server more classic, it just makes the already broken UI feel more broken.
