Every gun in the hand of a criminal was once a gun in the hand of a non-criminal. So, it only stands to reason that taking guns of law abiding citizens will cut down on gun violence. Law abiding citizens with guns are the ultimate source of the problem.

Nope.

I used to know someone who worked at an FN plant that could get you any gun that that particular plant produced BEFORE it got stamped with a serial number and recorded.

I would have scooped up a 5.7mm in a heartbeat, but he wanted 1200 for it.. thats a shame too.. could have done some real good in the community with a gun that didnt exist in any records.

Gaff, love you. But you have 1360 posts since February. And that's outside RnF. Can only imagine what it's like with RnF included.

Go outside.

you don't ban guns because a gun as is is a harmless tool for a capable creature to use. ban the creatures then no issue.

Yeah, still not sure how people honestly think banning guns will stop that behavior. Maybe they lived really sheltered lives? Good for you. Where I grew up, the gangs at the schools actually sold illegal guns regularly. In fact, at 14-18, it would have been very easy to buy one illegally and would have taken about 1 day to find someone offering. As opposed to trying to buy a handgun legally (here in California) where it takes a very long time (7+ days) and requires you to register your name to a list for who knows what purpose.

In fact, I bet it would be easier to get one illegally even today.

bout the same in a decent number of high schools in houston. the gun system itself need a revamp more than anything, but folks are lazy shits now and days.

yep. literally every shooting we've had in at least the last 20 years has been black people shooting other black people for stupid shit like imagined disraspek or ripping each other off in drug deals.
