Uprising and Ensidia combined can help with a healthy inflow of new recruits for Azrael or whatever the top competing guild will be. Who knows even Jibeken's guild could produce 10-15 decent new players that stick it out. Unfortunately it will take 2 months for it to matter.

All joking aside about the 3rd guild thing.

I would seriously do it if some Nihilum pals wanted to start one as a 3rd option, at least until Velious when we'll see if the population is high enough to sustain even a 2nd guild that can compete numbers wise. It would be a smaller guild, probably in the 20-30 active person range, level 60 required and the application process would be much more stringent.

I don't hate my guild or want to leave, sorry that is hard for you to believe. But PVP is fun and the big fights are the most fun, at least to me. I'd rather fight 40v40 and lose then win 40v0. It sucks Azrael didn't feel that way.

Azrael were fielding 50+ players and were stomping a small nilly core with app base. Nilly could barely field 20 on a repop day and it was mostly apps.

Azrael also demonstrated their true colours to the server, making constant threads about 0 dragons for nihilum, as well as talking about pity dragons that nihilum would never get. If it wasn't for all that shit on the forums, I reckon they would have enough fresh blood to compete. Unfortunately they chose to rely on players like sektors to fill their ranks. Look how that worked out.

Nihilum are actually a mature bunch and actively choose to avoid the forums (except a small handful that enjoy the forums as much as the game).

TL;DR

Azrael were given their chance at being #1 and blew it

Azrael only lost what ... 2 times and they totally disappeared, all but guild disbanded. So I ask what the deal is and someone is like, yeah we are on a break.... 2 month of logging in every Saturday for repops and the guild is like whew, time to tap out. Must have cramps.
