New Phantogram ^_^

Also just saw the movie Drive, soundtrack was pretty awesome, so I'll be listening to that soon.
Lol. Just saw that as well and really liked the soundtrack on it. Only thing was i noticed it used a lot of nine inch nails tracks from the social network, but great tracks none the less. And new phantogram already? Damn i thought they just kicked out an album less than a year ago.

Eyelid Movies was released in 2010 yeah, but this is just an EP, not a full album.

One of my current favorites right here (Genre: Surf-Pop):
Tennis - South Carolina

New M83 album - it's no Saturdays=Youth, but still sick...

Their first single from the album:

I actually listen to M83's first album often when I drive.

I've always really liked M83, but I like how they've evolved their sound in the same direction my taste in music has evolved. I really enjoyed that summer of 2010 chillwave push, and actually listened to Saturdays=Youth after I had gotten into bands like Washed Out and Toro y Moi - and it really seemed like an M83 album that was going in more of a synth/pop direction.

But yea, I agree, I liked their first album and have really liked all of their work - their later work more now given my taste in music, but when I was listening to their stuff back in like 2005 or whatever, it was kind of the same deal in that it was really what I was into at the time. Wow high run on sentence.

i'd say 2005 and 2006 were pretty heavy on ambient/electric, and (pre) post-rock styles. ill have to DL the new one.

Oh yea, I was just saying that that was when I got into them originally. Their 2009-now stuff has definitely been a lot more pop and synth inspired is what I was saying - which is the music I have been listening to a lot lately.
