that's how these western-yankees live . they also commonly don't have air conditioning.

This is like bukowski + hubert selby - the heroine and booze. Just needs more dialogue and improvised violence.

Your classical music thing lately is reminding me of a clockwork orange, a lot. Which, funny enough, the music was performed by a trans woman, Wendy Carlos. Moog synthesizer or something like that. Cutting edge technology.
