Riotgirl, I would highly advise playing Eternal Sonata on the PS3 over the Xbox. There's so much more (needed) content that it is almost not worth playing on the other system imo. Best RPG of the entire console gen by far.

I plumped for xBox a couple of years back because I had a MacBook and actually wanted to play console RPGs - predominantly action based ones - without making my own Pc.

Fast forward 2 and a half years, MacBook logic board went kaput, and I switched to Asus Win Laptop. Can't really justify buying another system for Eternal Sonata when I'm still half-way through Jade Empire, 3/4 through South Park:Stick of Truth, 8 hours in ME2 (hasn't grabbed me in the way ME did), and still need to get into RDR.

I won't mention my iOS backlog ..
