You realize that split sucks, right?
Split divides the number of coins, not the amount ,between the members of the group. So the person looting generally gets all the plat, while the remaining gold, silver, and copper is split among group members

It looks something like this

Mob has 4pp 6gp 12sp 27cp

Looter receives 4pp 1gp 2sp 7cp
every other member receives 0pp 1gp 2sp 4cp

So the warrior or rogue who constantly loots, thinking they're doing the group a favor,,, isn't
