Chardok AoE questions

Im new here so it will be long before i can go in AE group but in my old server ppl usually do AE group at sebilis.

Just wanted to know if ppl do only chardok or sometimes sebilis, who was really sad on xp and fun. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Necro or SK goes in, parks pet at a mob, pet guards, heads back toward entrance, pet attacks, get aggro on mob and pet dies, cleric heals puller and gets aggro, pet class FDs or gates outside if Mage, cleric DAs, enchanters stun, cleric DAs second time, chanters keep stunning, AE nuke mobs dead.

Something like that. I'm sure there are a few more intracicacies to it, but that's the jist.

I'd imagine you could use a Necro, SK, Mage, Shaman for the pull using a pet and FDing or gating out after you get healed by cler.

Mages work excellently. Also a good puller uses 2, preferably 3 pets to get a proper sized pull.

Not sure how this part works, but I do know if your group is good and can handle the bigger pulls it requires you to do the 2-3 pet method.

Simply get your faction up and run with the puller and learn all of this.

While on the subject, I used to camp the Chardok zone in (or outside that castle between zone in/zone out) with an enchanter...as a cleric.

If I set up with someone else down there and an AE group comes in looking to start, can I petition if they say "we're going to pull through you" ? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

... I spend 6 hours yesterday looking for 3 enchanters to get it going with people coming in and out, tracking proxies and waiting lists on an excel spreadsheet... the one time I finally get in this week and on my day off and we're short. FML.

They usually run from 8 AM to 1-2AM PST from my experience.

This sounds about dead on... Sometimes it can take til 10-11AM CST if having trouble finding the chanters...

I saw a 54 necro pulling in there, so I assume if I faction up in Droga I can probably go as a puller as a 56 necro (assuming they'd want me on list).

Since I can still gain XP while in FD, I take it that I'd just FD and collect the XP as they slaughter the pack?

Correct, a Puller really could be level 49+, The faction is going to be your hard part. And the group woud LOVE a DE/Necro puller over per say a ISKAR/SK, SK, ISKAR/Necro etc... Those groups all care about the exp and you will be helping that part out.

Get your faction and enjoy the easy ride to 60. Will only take you about 2 days if you have good playtime.
