The Felwithe > Kelethin route is super fast. At level 4 you still get 11% per turn in (bonus, you make 3-16ish gold per turn in. Not bad newbie cash).

If you're whiley you can get someone to bind in you Felwithe next to the bard (run across the bridge, turn right through the short tunnel and he's standing there just outside a building), get the mail. Run outside, attack a guard, get another letter. Then run outside again and drag your body with you to the bard guild in kelethin. You can then do 2 really quick turn-ins for 22% of a level. Then punch the bard for a fast return to Felwithe (no xp loss at your current level). You could theoretically do it with a bunch of bodies and do a ton of turnins at once but dragging more than 1 body is a chore since you have to target them individually.

Bank you gear first and just loot the gold off your corpse in Kelethin each time.

I would suggest the smaller denominations to more people. Simply because 1k to a brand spanking new newb is enough to set them up on any class and you'll have a much higher chance of your plat making a long term difference. 25k might setup a really good twink for someone who still doesn't have the stomach for EQ and then its just gone when they quit.

I've made about 300 plat so far, and I feel wealthy for a lvl 19. 1000 would make leveling so much easier.

plus isn't there a 1k plat twink guide for multiple classes on the wiki? Could go hand in hand quite well for newbies.
