Pretty awesome that GMs ask 60s to come help, then allow Nihilum to kill everyone after the mob dies. On top of that, you allow those said Nihilum to roll on the VS loot and WIN when they had nothing to do with the actual kill. ON TOP OF THAT, the people who helped in the fight and died to pvp, got no rez and no chance to roll on the drops. Seems fair. Next time I won't play my porter and help randoms get to the event to have fun.

Given the chance after the fact, I'd have paid an enormous amount of plat to avoid participating in this event, as it was once again just an opportunity for Nihilum to screw over the rest of the server while the GMs watch and laugh.

Good job turning a good idea into something toxic Deru/Sirken. At this point you're pissing more people off than making them happy with these events.

I logged after I found derubael a second time and realized it was all Kunark lore questions and I would never be able to answer one. What happened?

Heh, I really didn't care at the time. I assumed only level 20-50 was allowed to roll. I just ported myself back and looted my corpse. When I got there I saw everything was being rolled on and that's when I got pissed and rage logged.

Should have known people would have been mad, Basically gotta go with the flow. You guys went after a mob intended for a 20-40 bracket by jumping the gun on 2 groups of 60s. I brought my character in level range because I thought itd be fun, Only to get there and theres already 2 groups of RD spam rez rushing it.

That screenshot does not show the entire story, just at 3% Venril Sathir poofed(I assume sirken or derubael were playing him since he ran away or hid) I had him targeted the entire time and then when there were 20+ in the zone VS came back to docks to be killed as if they didn't want him to die yet. As for pvp, I wasn't on a 60 so I don't know. But maybe people were angry you tried ruining a 20-40 GM event when they said 60s should help heal/buff not form their own group and try to take all the loot for themselves. Somewhere there is reasoning behind why sirken let everyone there at the time roll for the items. Either way bla bla bla, I didn't get a guise bla bla bla, I ninja looted a SoS and was forced to cough it up bla bla bla.

Guys, I wasn't there, and it sounds like it could have been handled a little bit better. But you have to give the GMs a break. They are doing fun unique events and since they haven't ran the events before, they're not going to have a contingency plan for everything.

I still support the feedback on how it could have been better. Just dont see a reason to hate on the event/GMs

Sektors mad over this? Not sure why, Were you the one on Brea who looted the staff and had to fork it over when sirken put his foot down, instead of thinking you got it cause you looted it? Otherwise ide say you have no business since you were not there!

got my own cleric don't need access to brea. Not mad at all. Certain toxic Nilly members pulling a quick one and sabotaged a gm event they weren't even apart of. Can't really blame the GMs on this tho. A lot of bad apples in all guilds I guess.

i'm guessing you didn't read any of this thread.

i was on brea, locking the corpse. Denz won the guise with the highest roll of 90. i looted the staff only after nihilum bum rushed everyone with rains. I could have just as easily destroyed jboots, lev cloak on brea and re-looted them out of spite for Nihilum being so shitty about not being there for the mob.

i also already have a stave? so... there's that. when has anyone here known me to be a greedy player?

the event was fun, but it got handled poorly when GM intervention came into play. that's all. I'm being critical of what occurred, that's it. i have no use for an SoS on Waspnado or Brea or even to sell one for more shit. i would have rather it gone to someone that was present for the kill and/ a legitimate lowbie. 30k would make their ability to level a lot easier.

do you really expect people to believe that you killed the people there out of righteousness and for a better cause? or is it just simply that you wanted to make it your version of "fair"?

we were perfectly content randoming those items off, as we had started doing to lowbies and RD alike, until you came along wanting a piece of it all.

The mob was down, meaning the event was finished, meaning everyone with a nihilum tag had no right to be there when the loot got divvied up.

this is perfectly logical.

it's like me buying a house in my name with intent to live in it and then the bank deciding that they want someone else to live in it: "but thanks for buying it for this other guy."

it made absolutely no sense. i'm fine with it, it's just a shitty thing to do, and a bad call.
