Hah, competition? Was it all about cblocking? I really don't get how adding additional raid mobs (no one lost any mobs) bothers so many people.
These additional mobs are rotated between a huge group of casuals (who still play >4 hours a day, haha "casual"). There's no raining free pixels for anyone. Now if you're not in a 24/7 guild you have a tiny chance/hope for a particular item, though you're still sharing with a huge group of people.
"Class C" guilds lost no mobs (I think they gained some with the additional FFA spawns?). Why so hurt? And now these merges? I'm a casual, don't really care about pixels (though love the fact I get to see a dragon or two). If I had no job and was rich I might try the class C lifestyle for funs for a little while though I'm sure it'd burn me out fast.
Wouldn't it be more fun and competitive to break into smaller guilds? How competitive are the class C spawns now with only 2 guilds? That seems like more of a rotation than anything going on in Class R. Is this all just for bigger forces for Velious? If there's no competition in Class C, don't we have to change the name?

I think competition meant pushing their own members to put in more effort and play better.

But they didn't have to.

Now you got Rogean Obama system in and... boy who cares about effort now.

I admit I'm fairly new to the raiding scene here but I just don't understand this idea of how raiding is so easy now. 66% of the spawns are no easier than before, less variance but also no camping at spawnpoints. 33% more mobs (that didn't exist before the change) are available for the other 10+ guilds 1000+ people. And you still have to mobilize and kill the mob in a reasonable amount of time. I log in everyday and have yet to have these pixels rain down on me. Yes, theoretically an R only guild member could get bis .......in say 10 years of constant raiding. The new system just gives a casual (normal) player a sliver of a chance of item X., as opposed to 0 chance before.

This lol. Don't know how anyone could be upset.

I'm an actual casual (maybe 2 hours played on weekends) and it's not even worth my time to try and attend a raid.

It would make more since to just have a Gm staff member schedule times and spawn the appropriate MOB for said guild since there is only one server. not like it would be that hard and it really wouldn't do much to hurt anything. Maybe a couple more items floating around but.... that would just bring prices down a bit the biggest issue ive seen so far from comeing to this server is the greed of higher end players and the guilds they are in boxing out other players for items and drops.

How dare you people put in "effort" to kill things in a 15 year old game.

You idiots need to get your objectivist bullshit out of video games.
