That exp nerf wasn't as bad as this one. I think that was from 300% to 150%. This one was from 200% to 0%. I don't really care as much because I already have 4 lvl 60s. I do care about the population getting shit on though.

And you know, if we all took it in stride and went with it with a positive attitude, powering through those levels wouldn't feel like such a chore. If you don't like playing the game, why are you here?

Why does everyone seem to feel entitled to a level 60? It's supposed to be an accomplishment of time commitment, and it's supposed to happen gradually over time.
Again, conceptually I don't think that many people care too much about the EXP. It's more based on the fact that there is very few people to play with here, and getting into a group to begin with is incredibly difficult. If there were ample groups and plenty of people to meet and play with, I don't think people would care nearly as much. This change will undoubtedly result in even fewer people to group with.

Probably, but so will complaining about the change. If we really cared so much about the population instead of just looking out for our own goals, we would do the best with what we have instead of working to make it worse.

Besides, Sirken told us that more changes are coming and that they're not just leaving the server as it is. I trust him; he's never steered us wrong in the past.

First off you can't talk shit and ask stupid questions like why are you here and do you enjoy the game to the guy PLing up all the noobs, recruiting people from blue, offering raiding to those that would not otherwise have it, etc. Obviously the new rules are hurting his goals of providing a raid experience for his guild.

Who are you on this server right now? What level/class/guild are you in and how have these rules helped or hurt your ability to make in impact on this server? Would anyone notice if you stopped logging in?

You can ask those question for anyone for the exp nerfs and it would be the same outcome - non factor.

There are 3 people on this server that make a big impact on the community right now, Lite, HB and Nizzar. Their play times are absurd and they impact almost every player on this server whether for the better or worse. I know 2/3 don't like the exp nerf, not sure about Lite or if it really effects him and his friends.

Whether it is complaining out of frustration or making their opinions known to urge the devs to make a change going forward that is what happens on forums. Get over it.

I like it. = ) The problem with the server isn't that the XP is slow, its that there is no one to group with. I don't think the XP nerf helps but its not game breaking either. 90% of the population is in the healthiest bracket of players (50-60) and should stop the QQ and do more PEW PEW. This is Everquest yo!

The GM/Dev decision is what it is, and our dissent was expected. Continuing to complain about it is not going to change anything on that end, we simply have to deal with the lowered (but still increased) xp and wait to find out what else they have in store for us. Sirken isn't one to lie or lead us on, and after all he's done for the "box" don't we owe him the benefit of doubt?

Here's some constructive criticism: please stop hurting the population with loud and somewhat obnoxious posts about how the server is doomed now. We're all guilty of this from time to time, but if we made efforts to catch ourselves as we're doing it and stop then we'd all be better off for it.

The best way to respond to the changes is to accept it without whining and get on with our gaming. If for some reason we feel entitled to VZTZ-speed xp and are unable to enjoy the game without having levels handed to us, then we should gracefully take our leave without making a petty fuss. Anyone of sober mind can plainly see that the players making a big stink over this change are further discouraging new people from coming here and trying the game out with us. It's of course fine if you disagree with the decision that was made, but how many "I'm leaving!" or "23 of my friends just quit the server because it's too hard now" posts do we really need? Many of the people making these ridiculous and damaging posts are at the same time accusing the GMs/devs of not caring, and wanting to destroy the server.

There are worse things to be than a hypocrite, but that doesn't make it cool.

Let's all just calm down, think carefully about what our actions before we make them, and then get back to playing this game we love. Please.

SZ had legal trains, which I think was the main reason for including a very small bonus.

And since most of the population here is 50+, why do we feel as though we need a bonus at this range? There are groups to be found 50+ no matter what class you are or what guild you're in. The entire point of the bonus is to assist those players struggling because of the low population.

Uhhh, Idk how longs its been since you've played but I've been in the low lvl 50's for weeks LFG, possibly over a month now and have only found like 3 groups. It's just log in and log right back off everytime unless the guild is raiding.
