Sektor: I actually wrote Azrael's guild charter and quit the next day out of good faith and respect/ not agreeing with the way the guild was lead. Don't know if Lite even used it. Was a long time ago. Also wrote up a lengthy play by play of raid encounters for people who didn't know what resists were needed/ how each dragon worked. He might've used it. SHRUG.

I could make plenty of arguments about why someone would want to be in Red Dawn over Nihilum. Not everyone is a min/max power gamer that is seeking instant end game gratification. Many people develop bonds with the people they're guilded with, enjoy being that "lower tier" guild that's constantly progressing. They enjoy that the encounters are more difficult with "less skilled" pve'ers or with less numbers, and don't find the same satisfaction being in an already progressed guild where the encounters are done with ease. It's the difference between joining a cutting edge WoW progression guild where heroic raids are on farm and look easy [because they've had it on farm for months], and you just sleep walk it, vs. being part of a lower tier guild who wipes repeatedly and struggles but you get that great feeling of satisfaction after beating the encounter. Neither approach is "right" or "wrong."

Some people may also not be comfortable with the people Nihilum guilds. Nihilum is definitely THE pve guild on Red99. Because of this, they're willing to accept almost anyone to help them achieve their goal, knowing that since they hold the carrot [pixels], they can force members in line. For many people, they don't care. If you'll help me kill the mob so be it, just please shut up and keep the drama to the boards. Red Dawn hasn't taken that approach. Again, neither approach is right or wrong, just different ways to play the game.

There's a difference of loot systems. Some people are philosophically opposed to officer council. Others hate DKP.

I could go on and on with the differences about why someone may be happy in Red Dawn vs. Nihiulm, or vice versa.

What IS indisputable however is, that Azrael was with Red Dawn and had the chance to be one united guild. Your fearless leader, without communicating to any of the leadership of Red Dawn, decided to end that. Now you're asking why we haven't allied with you guys? Not sherrif srs.

This is a very legit concern. I personally came in to azrael teamspeak the day this shit was brewing, i think i managed to talk lite into not leaving and taking it slow and see how this "random repops" developed, the next day they had left for reasons unknown to me.

Not sure why they didn't listen but Azrael is my kind of click if this was a VZ/TZ type server where 2 boxing is allowed but considering you can't 2 box you gotta broaden your visions. You need set aside your differences and work together. Azarel let their egos get the best of them again, it's sad to see considering i have worked hard to see the "resistance" thrive.

I for one is not happy about nihilum defending red dawn, but then again without that red dawn would get shit stomped by azrael, the ball is in lite & heartbrands court now

Everyone has fun different ways. I like building something, it's enjoyable to me. I have the most fun when other people get loot and build their characters up. I also think it's more fun to be a part of a lower tier guild and help mold it into a top tier guild. Same thing I did in WoW, joined a newly progressing guild and tried to help push us to being a higher tier.
