Non-content related (IE: Not having to code quests/zones) patches went in within about a week of their timelines dates at Kunark release.

Things like TD-Bind nerf. Items being removed from loot tables. Items having their effects changed (fungal robe).

I would hope, since they've got the gift of knowing it's coming, the devs coded in the necessary adjustments for class penalties long-long ago and just need to flip a setting. Whether it's just a true/false flag in the DB to distribute experience based on level while multiplying xp gained for those classes appropriately or if just by running a script that removes excess-experience from the afflicted characters & moves them over to a race-appropriate xp table.

I always hid from that dude and yelled+shouted and stuff, cause I'd be worried I was gonna lose. Then when I would finally let myself run up next to Velius, I'd just punch him in the face for 999 (well, plus the dual-wield air punch for good measure).

sirken or derubael (i dont remember who) said on the stream in the beginning of February that the velious beta should start in about a month. I don't think it has been mentioned since then (or so that i've seen)
