if that were the case, there would be a new FTE message. Go do your homework, son.

[QUOTE=Nefarum;1315893]
... They then ran Maestro straight to our raid, feigned, and agrod Maestro all over Doljo. Probably not intentional, but it's what happened. At that point what do we do? Just let it wipe us since A-team got FTE but trained it on us and isn't engaging? Or kill the mob that was agrod on us?

/QUOTE]

Not the case and here is why:
(1) IF Raid Mob is agro'd THEN he shouts FTE of agroer
(2) IF agroer FDs or Dies, THEN Raid Mob resets FTE list UNLESS Raid Mob has another person on agro list
(3) THEREFORE, IF your story were correct THEN Maestro would have shouted a 2nd FTE message and you would have had the kill legitimately.

It is not even up for discussion, that is how the game mechanics work.

So since Raev ran Maestro right into us and flopped, our whole guild was still on his agro list are we not? What options does Doljo have at that point, just let themselves wipe?

He wasn't close when he flopped... As has been stated here multiple times, your monk got agro because he tagged while after Raev FTE and BEFORE he FDed, this getting you agro. Why so hard to understand?

Again you aren't very smart. Raev had FTE...Had he feigned Maestro on you he would have LOST FTE. The next person to aggro the mob would then get an FTE shout and you could kill it and loot it no problem. However the fact that only one FTE shout went out and Sirken came into the fold and told you Raev was First to engage disproves your whole story about how Maestro was flopped on you.

There's so much hate against Doljo because they generally stay away from RnF... basically allowing just one side of the story to perpetuate even if it's not the whole story.

There was never any intentional training in hate. This is Everquest. It's messy and dangerous, especially in a zone like Hate. With 2 guilds maneuvering to get to Maestro, there's bound to be over-agro and wiping. Doljo also wiped to "trains". Once again, I doubt it was intentional on either side.

Doljo saw a window where they could get to Maestro and was moving in for the kill. A-team got FTE (good work).

Sirken then rules in favor of a-team, which feels wrong to me. Sure they engaged, but lost the engage (and not from any Doljo actions). If the puller from A-team ran it to us and lost agro and dumped it on us, feels like they should lose FTE.

I guess we've figured out the newest best tactic for winning FTE races everyone! Just FTE and run the mob into another guild. You only need 1 person in the zone to win!
I know you are new at raiding...but if a FD class feigns their FTE a new FTE shout goes out to the next person to engage the mob. Disproves your story right away.

We did not train you. The whole time we were sitting at the fountain rezzing/medding and your monks flopped multiple trains on us. Then you started clearing and you were aggroing the 2nd floor and that hit us a few times too.

You don't understand how FTE messages work obviously. This WOULD have been true (Clang didn't quite understand what I wanted him to do) but Jetli tried to take the pull while I had it aggroed. It was a straight up FTE snipe by you guys.

Rezzing/medding at the fountain is asking for trains, bro.
