There's a scifi novel I read where people wanted Jesus to be real so bad that they created god and Jesus, and said the bible was proof of their creation being factual and not fictional.
Sure... there are some bliblical places, but no more so than Michael Criton might reference New York or Antartica or Moscow. Now. The links you provided were a lot of the same without much citation, so i can't even believe that much. Christian teachings are a double edge sword, look at them, and determine for youself what god is... because there is not 1 god, or 1 force or 1 thing in the universe. Both rivers and lava carve through the land and leave changes on mother earth. The frequency and sound of the universe is one giant symphony. Jesus was just a man, who understood these things and tried to bring what he believed to be "god" to everyone. And he was a great man. But he was not god, or a diety himself. Just an enlightened guru with a few more secrets of the universe unlocked than most of us.

Snow Flake, out of 100,000 sperm, YOU were the fastest? That alone is far better evidence that there is a God.

So finding cities mentioned in the Bible proves that there is an omnipotent creator of the Universe who made laws that say we're all going to Hell but he sent his own son to die on the cross to offer a loophole that he made in the first place. Check. And Spiderman is real because we know New York City is real and he lives there, by the same logic. See what I did there? Regards, Mg

I totally believe at one point in time there was one guy that God still liked, so he had him build and ark and saved him and his family, and the animals, then killed every other living thing walking on the planet. Yeah, yeah that happened.
Or maybe not. But I believe in a creator. Whether he involves himself in our lives or with events on this planet, ever... I dunno. I've seen miracles. Maybe it was just luck and timing, incredible luck and timing. But if there is a God he's probably so omnipresent he keeps track of everything everywhere in the universe, right? And maybe budges things once in a while. I dunno... And if the universe is full of intelligent life... Jesus only came to earth? I don't think so. I also think he has been here many times (I kinda think Melchizedek was Jesus or a version of him). I think all this stuff is way over our heads now, even with our understanding of string theory and stuff, and is way, way over the heads of people 2000 years ago, and so the Bible is full of God's stuff, but its so misinterpreted at times it seems goofy... because it was interpreted by bronze aged minds. That's unfortunately heresy today, because most established religions say you can't question what is written. Well fuck that. I'm not an atheist but I sure the hell know BS when I see it.

It's probably more likely that we live in a grand simulation much like P99, but with no play nice rules and RMT is the standard way to get ahead.
