You guys really think selling the stone to buy Torpor would be the way to go? I remember when stones were 300k, isn't there a chance that the price could go back up?
No, don't sell it.

and there ARE tons of low-mid range items/areas you can camp for plat/items, as a druid.

You can ONLY use a Manastone in Classic zones. Not in Kunark, not in Velious zones. So on paper it is as useless as tits on a boar hog. YMMV.[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

As was said. Port, Manastone, Gate. Makes MS not super useless. The other thing is, torpor will always drop. Manastones not so much.

There is the fact that manastones are selling for less now than they have in a year+ (I think), though, and that torpor is more expensive than ever.

This is true but nonetheless they are still no longer dropping, who knows the less of them there eventually becomes they may rise again.

Do you think the current trend will continue, with stones going down in price and torpor only continuing to go up?

I would advise not to sell the stone. There is a reason I am sitting on 5 of them currently.

Manastones will do nothing but gain value in the long term. Yes it will fluctuate but as long as you sell it when the market is right you will come out way ahead. The market is not right currently, fyi.

I paid 50-60k for most my manastones years ago.I sold two a few months ago for 300k each. Fairly good return imo.

I recently bought up a few at 150k each, I fully expect them to be 300K+ 6 months into velious.

I could be wrong by based on my return on manastones in the past and their historical prices on live servers they are the best investment you can make in EQ.

tldr - Don't sell your stone - Unless its to me for cheep =)
