So while the english definition of variance may slightly apply here, it is clearly not what is being proposed with a once a month simulated repop. In that scenario we know the spawn times of all mobs, as soon as the server comes back up. So basically, there is no reason to poopsock because you'll get a clear warning when things are going to spawn (because the server "goes down"). The obvious advantage to a guild like RD in this scenario is all raid mobs appear simultaneously, and Nihilum in theory could not get to them all fast enough.

A #1 guild YEARS into a box and Kunark shouldn't be dropping 38 people in Solb, then leaving to CT and locking down Naggy at the same time as other raid mobs.
It's broken, and allows for 1 strong guild. If we looked at Red99's history from the point of view of growth, population, fun, competition, guilds, economy, groups ETC it would get a FAILING grade if you considered it a beta till now. Variance would not be bad for Nihi, it just would make them prioritize more, and less efficient static mob farming back to back 1 day a week and ghost town. This server there's only the small % of have's that love it, and promotes empty boring 1 sided box.

Your own side doesn't even support it. The GMs have already shot it down here. All implemented forms of variance have been dramatically reduced or removed on blue. It was a bad idea then, it's a bad idea now. Give it a rest already.

He is making the suggestion of random repops to allow for multiple raid target timers instead of being stuck forever, which is one of the main benefits of individual raid target variance.
That being said, it's an improvement, but typical of one of a Nihi member that half addresses the issue of all raid targets being back to back on a single day.

When an idea that doesn't address a big part of the problem (1 day a week all targets) it needs to be addressed, sorry pal.
If the repops are weekly, or bi monthly it may touch on it.

Nihilum sucks, Red dawn are scrubs, everyone loves pixels and hates pvp. There, I just summed up every guild vs guild argument this thread could possibly come up with.
Now, Back on topic: Repops. Sup? why or why not.

I would like to see some variance in statis's tread replies.

If it is weekly or bi-monthly it may add enough raid targets that Nihilum will A) not be able to keep up with all of them/care as much hopefully and B) A second or potentially third guild could try to snipe raid targets with more of them available(RD/Nihi fighting etc)
Different raid timers, not stuck at 9am where it favors the jobless, there are no bad reasons other than it lessens control of pixels, and leverage from those control of pixels. This has nothing to do with guilds hating each other, and more with it threatening power and control, over an EMU box of 100 people, from sick individuals.
